I am singing and thinking..."I am so excited for Christmas! What a great year it has been" How can 2018 be better?...Just wait you will see.....
Can I offer you a Top Ten Christmas List? What ...... NO, you blurted! .. Ok, but here are seven point five things of interest...
First, I have said "thank-you" to Club members so many times this year, it may invoke an eye role...But here's a note received by Tom Ossell from the Veterans Club President, Russ Lachance. " I want to thank everyone from the Pickle Ball club that helped us at the HOA Craft Fair. The entire process went so smoothly. Our sincere thanks for all their work. I cannot tell you enough how much your club’s partnership means. And please know if there is anything we can do for you, just ask". Making a difference, so many times and building camaraderie across the Village. A key Club goal for 2017.
Second, it's time to pay your 2018 dues. Drop them off in an envelop at the Rec Center Desk. ( Yes, there are envelops at the desk) Also tell Pat Suwalski what a great job she has done this year as your Membership Director.
Third, the best ever "Mix it up" Christmas Party will be held on December 16th at the Lakes Ball Room. Are you offering a "mix it" bottle of spirits? Let Diane Durnell know...She does not want to many of one kind, ... you understand...
Fourth, did you Vote for your 2018/2019 officers? If not let's go>>>>>>> http://wbvpickleballclub.wufoo.com/forms/x7d7lsq1qu1iml/ Bill or Dianne Joan Oh My!! It's so easy let's get 100% member participation.
Fifth, what about your new Courts? Here's a progress report from our Sports Court HOA Representative Mike Barnett.."Hello Pickleball members. Several of the bushes have been removed from around the courts, post and corners have been added and squared off. New lighting should start next week and in about 10 days, the concrete pour will begin". Watch for another update on December 15th.
Sixth, Are you ready to make someone smile for Christmas? Your Club Community Affairs Team (Lois Kumerow) is at it again. Diane Ballard is collecting "nice and clean/newish" toys, coloring books/crayons, art supplies, toy cars, stuffed animals, games, dolls, children's games, puzzles for children 1-17 years old. So what do you have in that closet you have not touched in 2 years? Diane will be at the courts each morning through Sunday, December 10th with bins to fill. Make someone smile.
Bigger is "NOT" Better......Better is Better!!
